Pillow as Nuclearman
Format Used: DVD
Contains: Grphic Violence
Genre: Comic Sci-Fi/Action
When a small boy appeals to Superman to end the threat of nuclear war forever he vows to take every nuclear missile and throw
into the sun. When Lex escapes with the help of idoit nephew he concieves a plot to destroy Superman with a strand of hair
and unleashing the DNA, then hiding it in a warhead.
When the warhead is thrown into the sun it gives birth to a new villian, Nuclearman. The battle between Supeman and Nuclearman
is a smack down that may leave the world in ruins.
They saved the best for last, but the love triange between Lois, Clark and Lacy Winfield really didn't go anywhere. But the
action scenes are great and the effects are the best of them all.
I GIVE IT...9 STARS
I agree that this is a great last installment, but I have a couple of things that did bug me. One, Nuclearman carries Lacy
into space. SPACE, hello. even if Superman and Nuclearman can survive in space Lacy certainly cannot! Two, after so many
nuclear warheads are capture by Superman one would think any country who wanted to keep their bombs (i.e. China) would have
stopped testing them. But still a really cool movie.
I GIVE IT 7 STARS
ON THE POSITIVE SIDE (+ HITS):
+ STORY (I really enjoyed the story in this one)
+ NUCLEARMAN (Not was is one cool super villian)
+ GENE HACKMAN (Is always cool as Lex Luthor)
+ EFFECTS (The effects work really well in this)
ON THE NEGATIVE SIDE (- MISSES):
- ROMANTIC TRUANGLE (There was a subplot that got stuck in the mud and kind of stayed there)
- LACY IN SPACE (Hello, there is no air in SPACE!!!)
- FAN BASED (If you are not big on comic book movies, then this is not for you)
